I have a passion for helping clients find lasting, meaningful recovery from substance abuse and addiction. I am trained in EMDR and use it as part of your path to recovery along with IFS. I help to identify triggers and be able to learn healthy coping skills. My passion is helping people reconnect with themselves by recovering from addictions in healthy ways and healing past traumas or wounds that keep us stuck in old behaviors. I view therapy as a collaborative process to help you recover or discover your true self and develop attainable goals.
I provide a supportive, safe and confidential environment for self-exploration and personal growth. I use mainly Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, I have found this most effective in help heal your past that is showing up in your present. I also use Dialectical Behavioral and CBT. I will help you create a relapse prevention plan that works for you.
I believe we all seek connection and love, some of us have just formed unhealthy ways of gaining these. I view addiction as a means to find connection and help heal trauma. I collaboratively work with you to create attainable goals, and work toward sustainable, meaningful change by holistically addressing and integrating mind, body and spirit.
