I believe it shows strength to ask for help in these difficult and challenging times. I would be honored to assist you through these times. I have experience working with individuals from preteens to adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and other mood disorders. I like to help people learn coping strategies to help manage these symptoms.

As a therapist I am dedicated to helping and supporting children, adolescents and their families as a whole. I strive to help others recognize and strengthen their abilities to cope and problem solve for past, current and future situations, and in the process they grow and heal mentally, emotionally and physically. I am here to listen, hear and understand with an open mind. I have experience with working with kids who have anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, ADHD, as well as kids who struggle with expressing or being able to regulate their emotions.

People often fear that if others truly know them at the deepest level, they will be rejected, judged or pitied. I have found that the opposite is true: to know people deeply is to have compassion for them. And miraculously, being deeply known is healing. This is the basis for the work I do with my clients. Most of my work is with clients who experienced trauma or had difficult childhoods. I also work frequently with perinatal mental health issues, including birth trauma, postpartum depression, relational issues that arise after having a baby, and anxiety in the prenatal or postpartum periods.

I also specialize in helping couples and families heal from addictions.

Welcome to Sweet Orange Therapy Services, providing virtual-only individual therapy specialized in maternal mental health and support for women navigating life transitions particularly pre-conception, fertility issues, miscarriage, abortion, pregnancy, postpartum and the entire parenting spectrum. These phases are of life are hard. Phew. You deserve a snack. And you also deserve to build in space for calm, self-love, rejuvenation, and fun.
