As a marriage and family therapist I love helping couples and families of all backgrounds discover their unique goals and help families to thrive as a team. My clients are typically managing mental health issues and symptoms that develop in response to life changes, identity concerns, or responses to systems they belong to. This may look like transitioning to a new city, managing a new health diagnosis, or exploring their gender. The typical clients I work with have a shared goal of wanting to learn how to better support themselves in response to environmental and interpersonal concerns. They are motivated to develop skills and strengthen their self-awareness to get to a place where they are living a life that is aligned with who they see themselves as.
