I am a psychologist with thirty-years of experience as a therapist, educator, and group facilitator. I work via tele-health. I am licensed in Texas and New York. I received my degrees from New York University and Long Island University and then moved to Texas to work with active duty servicemembers. In my private practice, I specialize in ADHD coaching, Depression, PTSD, Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome, Psychedelic Plant Medicine Integration, Interior Design Consultation, and Racial/Cultural Identity.

Charlie sees himself as a partner to clients, helping to identify struggles that interfere with an individual's growth into the person he or she wishes to be. He tailors his interventions specifically to the client’s needs. He has experience working with individuals facing a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, mania, trouble with interpersonal relationships, and workplace stress. Elaine earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 1987; however, quickly discovered that she wanted more. She went back to school and earned her Master of Arts in Educational Psychology: Guidance and Counseling; both from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has specialized training to include play therapy techniques, trauma and abuse, trauma informed care, conduct disorders, solution focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. She became an LPC Supervisor in 2006.

I am a Licensed therapist with over 25 years of mental health experience. Much of this experience was gained during my service in the United States Army serving veterans and their families faced with a wide variety of mental health challenges.

I am a genuine listener who engages others by getting to know them, while exploring needs and goals. I believe that problem-solving begins with discovery of our inner strengths which can be used to foster healing and growth. While work in therapy can be difficult at times, it does not always have to be "serious business". Many people do not know how to have fun and learning this skill is always healing.

I obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Denver. I completed a Predoctoral Internship and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in clinical psychology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. My broad training included emergency psychiatry, inpatient and outpatient adult and adolescent treatment, neuropsychological and forensic assessment, and behavioral medicine . My fellowship training in psychological testing and adolescent development informs my clinical thinking and focuses treatment to the psychological, interpersonal, and developmental presentation of each individual.

Paul R. Stephenson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with five years of experience. He has a Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University and a Master's Degree from University of Texas at San Antonio. Paul believes that his first priority is to hear his clients. He has a lot of experience helping people walk through challenging seasons and difficult circumstances, but Paul views each of those people is first and foremost an individual with unique life experiences. Whether it's anxiety or grief/loss, he feels each of us responds differently based on what we've encountered in our own life story.

Mireya Tamez is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 1992. Mireya has an MA in Clinical Counseling from St. Mary's University. Mireya is able to help clients by meeting them where they are in their journey and by exploring with each individual a wholistic wellness model that fits their needs. Outside of work, Mireya enjoys spending time with family as well as binge watching on HULU and Netflix, meeting with friends for brunch, and weekend getaways with family.

I am a passionate and dedicated individual known for my open-mindedness, honesty, and attentive ear. I believe that empathy, understanding, and a genuine caring spirit must be present in every interaction that I have with individuals. I also bring a unique blend of sincerity and insight into every session that I have with my clients. I embrace diversity as an open-minded individual, valuing differing perspectives in my clients. Esmeralda Barraza is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2019. Growing up Esmeralda heard stigmas and false narratives about getting help. There was a shame associated with receiving counseling. Esmeralda now knows that providing education about what counseling could be, could help save a life. Outside of work, Esmeralda enjoys spending quality time with family, baking/cooking, and attempting to farm.

My ideal client is someone who, not only is experiencing depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, marital issues, and behavioral concerns, but also is willing to discover the reasons behind such issues, who is motivated to learn healthy patterns of functioning, and to improve overall outlook on life.
