It is my honor to work closely with LGBTQ clients and their loved ones. I especially enjoy working with those exploring their gender identity and looking for an affirming place to go on their self-discovery journey. I often work with clients who have experienced religious trauma, intergenerational trauma, sexual trauma, and emotional neglect. Seeking support is hard, so you already have a lot to be proud of! My ongoing goal is to create a practice routed in LGBTQ affirmation, antiracism, antifascism, and radical love for my fellow human.
I use a relational, intersectional feminist, trauma informed approach to build a strong therapeutic alliance with clients. Together, we identify your strengths and what you'd like to change. I strive to minimize gatekeeping by providing free HRT and surgery letters to those seeking gender affirming care.
My experiences as a white, fat, queer person give me a unique perspective and lived experience that helps me connect with clients who have experienced oppression. My goal is to name my privilege and create a space in which you can experience healing connection. You are worthy of peace, safety, and joy. I would love to help you build that.
