I hold a masters in science in psychology with the specialty of marriage, individual, and family therapy. I am here to help you to the best of my ability and most of all, I'm open-minded about cultures, beliefs, sexual orientation, and walks of life. My office space is a judgment-free zone. I work with grief, anxiety, depression, intergenerational and religious trauma, losses, life transitions, and relationship issues.

I specialize in trauma informed care, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and coping with grief and loss. During our initial sessions, we will create a treatment plan and set goals for therapy.

I help people improve their mental wellness and quality of life pertaining to: health stressors, romantic/family relationships, social anxiety, existential identity issues, traumatic experiences, and specialize in treating those with medical conditions like heart disease, cancer, surgeries, terminal illness, autoimmune disorders and many more. Addressing physical conditions along with mental health ones is essential in the work I do: sleep/insomnia, sexual dysfunction, weight gain/loss, pain management, and substance misuse. I enjoy working with all races/ethnicities, cultures, sexual orientations, and spiritualities.

My experience has prepared me to work with body image issues, crises, self-harm, suicide ideation, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, interpersonal issues, grief, coping skills, religious trauma, disordered eating, and LGBTQIA+ matters. I specifically have a heart for clients who are navigating and processing their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. I also love supporting individuals who are working through religious trauma or concerns. I have deep understanding and empathy for how difficult it can be to navigate personal growth through the lens of changing or leaving behind belief systems, cultures, and communities.

I work with adults of all ages who find themselves struggling with depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma, relationship conflicts, grief, as well as a plethora of other curve balls life will throw at someone at any given time. I help my clients connect the dots between what they are going through now and how it came to be through psychoanalysis then targeting what actions they need to take in the present moment to empower them with agency to manage their current reality.

I practice depth psychology with a strong Jungian focus to help heal trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression in adults and children (age 10+). Whether you (or a family member) are going through a life transition due to divorce or job loss, feeling depressed or anxious, or experiencing a relationship conflict, making a change is always easier when you have an experienced professional to guide you through it. I use a psychoeducational approach to help clients understand how they can move forward from their current and past difficulties towards acceptance and a more fulfilling life and future.

I have a passion for helping people whether it be teens, adults, couples, families, and individuals struggling with grief, stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and marital and familial conflict. My goal is to specialize in trauma in relationships, conflict, infidelity in marriage, and communication issues that plagues couples and families.

I have lived in the DFW area for twenty three years and consider myself a Texan who wasn’t born here, but I am here to stay. I work under Nanette Rousseau of Rousseau Counseling. I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Life Coach and what I can offer is safety, connection, empathy, and understanding. I love my work and I am excited to be where I am today! I have an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology and my Master of Science in Counseling. I attended Texas A&M University Commerce. I have a passion for helping people grow and being there to see the progress. It's an incredible experience to see someone develop the tools they need to make change on their own. I have worked with adolescents ages 12 and up, along with adults of all ages with a strong emphasis in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.
