I’m Eric Murtha, an integrative psychotherapist, licensed to practice in Minnesota. During my years in practice, I have developed an understanding and appreciation of the uniqueness of each individual and family that I have helped. I believe that we all develop patterns regarding how we think, deal with emotions, and relate to the people in our lives. Often these patterns have served us in the past. However, during times of stress, loss, or traumatic experience, these patterns may be unhelpful, and we can feel stuck. This is when therapy can make a big difference in feeling better and help us live more effectively.

Hello! We all experience times of difficulty and shifts in our lives. I focus on building compassion for self and others to help individuals and families work through stress, increase confidence and build support systems in their lives. I work with those who are experiencing trauma, posttraumatic stress, depression, ADHD, anxiety, identity development, life transitions, divorce and co-parenting stress. I enjoy working across the age spectrum including children 7 and under and adolescents (ages 12+) through adulthood.

I work with individual adults, couples, families, teens, and children in a variety of areas, including mental health therapy, substance use disorder, EMDR trauma therapy, hypnotherapy, quitting smoking, phobias, confidence, and equine-assisted therapy. I have been a life coach and hypnotist for 11 years, substance use disorder counselor for 5 years, and I am a pre-licensed mental health therapist under supervision.
