If you're navigating work-life balance, stressors, and likely facing the ongoing challenges compounded by the pandemic, I am here to come alongside you as you seek healing, health and wellness. I have a special interest in serving adult-aged clients in the BIPOC community. Whether you are in college, graduate school, or a working professional, I'm taking new clients in Uptown (& telehealth) at this time. Maybe you are finding yourself at a crossroads, facing a major (or minor) life change. Therapy with me will be holistic, person-centered, integrating your story as you slow down, seek clarity and pursue a conscious, welcomed change.

As a therapist, I’m all about building you up. I want to give you tools to feel empowered. I want to help you gain the confidence to overcome anything. I like being creative with therapy and there are so many ways we can use therapy for self-discovery, for increasing self-love, and for building confidence about your self-worth.

Practicing from a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach, I work with primarily adults.

I am inspired and humbled by the stories of people's lives - and I'm here to help when life gets challenging. If you're in the midst of a life transition or are feeling directionless - we can explore purpose. If life seems too hectic or feels increasingly hopeless - we'll work together to identify the underlying issue and explore solutions. If it feels like you and your teenager are stuck or if the relationship between your spouse/partner is a source of stress - we can work on communication. **Telehealth Available** I have often hoped that counseling could be viewed as routine as oil changes or perhaps, more pleasant: lunch. The truth is that counseling is often utilized during crises or when things feel “too much.” Maybe your experiences have led to challenges in your relationships, leaning on numbing agents to cope, having thoughts that are not typical for you, avoiding things in your life. Maybe old wounds are resurfacing or you're grieving something huge. You might not even know why you're reaching out. Anything is acceptable here. All I require from you is curiosity.

Open for New Clients. Clients seeking therapy can come as they are. It is my goal to have the education and tools to facilitate their process. I work with individual adults, couples, families, teens, and children in a variety of areas, including mental health therapy, substance use disorder, EMDR trauma therapy, hypnotherapy, quitting smoking, phobias, confidence, and equine-assisted therapy. I have been a life coach and hypnotist for 11 years, substance use disorder counselor for 5 years, and I am a pre-licensed mental health therapist under supervision.
