THERAPY: I hear so much negativity in our field about work with people. But - I am amazed by some of the people that step foot into my office. I am in awe of their ability to smile through pain. I feel blessed that I get to share in their strong, resilience and desire to grow and change. I learn so much from them. I’m also frustrated with societies message that emotions like anger, resentfulness and jealousy are abnormal for us to feel. Sometimes they interfere with other parts of our life. These people that I encounter on a day-to-day basis are amazing, beautiful people. To all of them I say-

I believe in our innate capacity to grow and heal. Sometimes we need a little help along the way. I support that process with compassion, acceptance, and respect. I am most passionate about working with those struggling with relational or complex trauma, attachment issues, self-worth, shame, addictions, and parenting.

It can be exhausting to feel like you've tried it all and keep getting the same results. While on the outside, you seem to have it together, on the inside, you're dealing with chaos. You've tried to set goals, but your mind is too scattered to be consistent. I can support and empower you to be a more healed and powerful version of yourself and break free from sabotaging behaviors. In a world where most people wear masks, it's a privilege to see a soul. This is how I see my role as your therapist. To see past your pain and help you uncover your true inner light.

I am a LCSW, LCAC and EMDR certified with over 9 years of experience with many success stories such as, helping clients move from despair to freedom to live the life they deserve by conquering demons of addiction and/or trauma, overcoming the fears of anxiety, the stronghold of depression, no longer lost in the fog of dissociation, in self-control and learning to love self for the first time after years of trauma and abuse. I have been blessed when children and spouses of clients have expressed their thanks for helping their loved one get on the right path of recovery from addiction and trauma.
