The mission of Kristina’s work as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst is to improve the overall quality of life for children and teens and build supportive and well-informed environments for them to thrive in.  Whether behavior problems come from normal challenges that accompany development, or from diagnoses including level 1 autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or learning disabilities, she can help! She offers a holistic, positive approach to parenting based in the science of human behavior. Her work helps parents learn simple and effective tools for building supportive environments for optimal wellness in their children's behaviors.

My name is Vanessa, I am a Caribbean born, and native New Yorker. I settled in South Florida with a passion to build families and strengthen individual connections. As a middle child, I grew up feeling unseen and unheard in a dysfunctional family dynamic, which led me to search for love and validation. As I grew into adulthood, I found healing and acceptance through conversations with close friends and professionals. It was during these times that really helped me and led me to where I am now. For the past decade, I have utilized an eclectic therapeutic style that integrates various research-based modalities tailored to each client!

Kasha McCloud is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist who encourages, empowers and uplifts patients through the practice of individual, couples and family therapy. Kasha is experienced in women issues, cultural/ethnic issues, substance abuse, complex relationship issues, grief, and identity/low self-esteem. Kasha strongly believes everyone should have access to supportive services and to be informed about troubling mental health diagnoses that impact individuals ability to live a fully functioning life.

I have specialty in treating anxiety and depression, and work to help my clients become free from the bondage of fear, worry, overthinking, inflexibility, and perfectionism. In a warm and safe environment, I also help couples that feel dissatisfied and disconnected to communicate and experience a revitalized relationship together, and to create vision for their best lives and their shared dreams. I enjoy teaching communication skills to ensure each are able to be present with each other, understand each other and resolve issues including sex, parenting, finances, family of origin, and trauma issues.

My ideal client population are adolescents and young adults ranging between the ages of 12 and 30. I take interest in working with that population because there are many mental and emotional challenges that arise during this time period such as struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger, codependency, past painful experiences/ trauma and identity challenges. I also enjoy working with the family unit as I take pride in being a Beacon of Light, Speaker of Truth, and Author of Hope. I am here to help you achieve your goals, maintain a peace of mind and confidently walk in your true essence.

At some point in our life we hit a bump in the road. It has been my experience that with the right tools and a supportive system, the client can do extremely well in therapy. My goal is not to have the client in therapy for years to come, but rather to enable them to get over the hurdle they face and live the most productive life that they can. Most of the work I do is with either individuals or families. My training is in Family Systems and I am an ongoing participant at the Family Institute of Westchester.
