My work with individuals is grounded strongly in a patient-centered/dynamic approach that is informed by various cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I believe in meeting my clients where they are and assisting them in moving towards their goals. I take a holistic treatment approach that considers the mind, body, and environment as well as emotional well being to achieve healthy functioning. Empathy, respect, and authenticity are at the foundation of my interactions with clients. I have effectively worked with adults, adolescents, and children in overcoming emotional and behavioral obstacles through the use of CBT, solution-focused strategies, play therapy, and skills training.

I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I provide psychiatric medication management for patients 4-21 years of age. I understand that a person is more than the sum of medical conditions. Medication can help but is not a cure. I encourage patients to actively participate in their care by learning about their condition and utilizing other management strategies, such as therapy, meditation, and a healthy lifestyle. I work in partnership with patients and families to develop a treatment plan to successfully meet their goals. I am allied with the LGBTQ+ community.

I am accepting individual clients! There is no wrong way to begin the therapeutic process, but it usually starts with. a question or two. Why is this happening again and again? Why do I make these choices? How do I change? My role as a therapist is to help you face these questions and use the strengths you have to begin the healing process. This may include revisiting the past, finding mindfulness in the present and looking forward to a better future. I am an affirming CNM and kink practitioner. I am a couples therapist and have completed the first level of the Gottman Method couples therapy.

We are mental healthcare workers committed to providing safe, affirming, and culturally responsive healthcare for our 2SLGBTQI+ community.

As a licensed clinical mental health counselor, I offer telehealth sessions for adolescents, families, and adults. For children under 13, I offer parenting support, consultation, and parent-child sessions. I assist clients with a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, neurodivergence (Giftedness/LD/ADHD/2e), relationship problems, and identity development. My extensive training includes a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as psychodynamic, attachment-based, Internal Family Systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused. I also provide ADHD and executive functioning skills coaching.

Sometimes people feel unable to move on from things that have happened in their life, stuck in their moods, jobs, or unfulfilling relationships. I work from a primarily psychodynamic point of view to help clients better understand what might be getting in the way of living the life they want. I will value working collaboratively with you to facilitate the healing process. I have extensive experience working with children, college aged individuals, adults, veterans, and seniors with short and long term interventions.
