Change can be difficult, seem impossible, and leave a person feeling overwhelmed, powerless, and destined to stay stuck. I believe that change is achievable, and each person can become the person he/she wants to be in life. The process of change is unique for each person, and it is my goal to empower and encourage each person to identify and harness personal strengths while overcoming problematic thoughts and behaviors. Change is challenging but possible. I would like to help you achieve your change.

My personal practice is centered on curiosity, openness, and understanding. I will never claim to know exactly what it is like to live the life you’ve lived (as we’re all so unique!), but I will do my best to hear your story in the way you want it to be heard. Together, we will work as a team to identify, understand, and challenge the things that keep you feeling stuck. I aim to help my clients cultivate self-compassion and develop coping and self-regulation tools that can be accessed no matter what life may throw their way. My experience is primarily in working with complex trauma, anxiety, disordered eating, and LGBTQ+ issues.

I consider myself a neuro-psychotherapist. I enjoy working with people who want to feel differently and are ready for the things that they know are true to feel true. I enjoy working with any age individual. I help facilitate change for those who would like to have the stresses or large events of the past not have so much power and control over them in the present. I work to empower people to feel more grounded in the present and hopeful about the future.

To me, therapy is meant to be a place of safety and support as you explore becoming your favorite version of yourself. Sometimes this might mean exploring and processing emotions, sometimes it might mean exploring new habits, and sometimes it might mean developing greater compassion for yourself. No matter what it means for you, I believe that everyone is doing the best that they can with the resources that they have, and I want to support you with empathy and warmth as you navigate life’s many challenges. Therapy is for you, and that means that you get to be the guide to your own success.
