TLC is a multi-disciplinary group of psychologists, OT's, & SLP's. The core of our philosophy is the belief that our focus is on people, not on diagnoses/disabilities. With that in mind, we develop an individualized plan with every child, young adult, and family. We use a holistic, strengths-based approach to help individuals reduce symptoms of anxiety or depression, develop better self-esteem, learn new coping skills, improve social skills, and learn how to communicate more effectively. Samuel Cooper (he/him/they) is a Licensed Master Social Worker, meditation teacher, and yogi. He practices from a trauma-sensitive foundation of pancultural spirituality and eclectic theory, and believes that therapy must be creative, fluid, and collaborative in order to meet the unique and changing needs of each client. No matter how big or small the issues we face, no matter how deep or wide the questions we ask, he believes that each of us contains the power to move towards insight, growth, authenticity, and healing. Sam’s work is ultimately dedicated to the flourishing of all beings.

My name is Haley Lawrence, and I am a clinical social worker (LCSW-C). I attended McDaniel College and received my Bachelors of Arts in Social Work (BSW) in 2016. Following undergraduate, I attended University of Maryland and received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) in 2018. I have experience conducting both individual and family therapy. I have worked with the following: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, and behavioral issues. I practice using the following interventions: CBT, DBT, anger management skill building, relationship skill building, and supportive talk therapy.

My background is varied and includes experience treating a variety of mental health conditions, but I knew I had found my niche once I started working with OCD and Anxiety clients.
