We often question our purpose in life, especially during challenging times. To keep it real, in many cultures/communities, such as the African American (Black) community, we might have been taught to either “pray” about our situations, issues, and emotions or “suck it up and keep it moving.” This can create negative energies such as anxiety, depression, anger, guilt, and other mental health issues that need to be addressed in a healthy manner.

The mission of Path of Discovery Counseling Services is to guide millennial women of color on a path of discovery, healing, and self-reflection by examining, envisioning, and exploring how they can live a more authentic and peaceful life. You may be booked and busy, find that you put other peoples needs over your own, labeled as a "Strong Black woman," or all three! Together we will take a holistic view of your life, and identify patterns that may contribute to your current state. From there I guide you through unlearning what isn't healthy and learn a new way of being that feels authentic to you.
