I am a University of Pennsylvania trained, millennial, Indian-American, psychotherapist who utilizes emotion-focused methods to help you generate a stronger sense of self. My main goals in therapy are to help you feel less alone with your emotions and to help you feel more understood in your experience as a POC in the United States. As a child of immigrants, I can relate to the unique challenge of straddling two very different cultures and trying to fit in with both. Oftentimes, I will draw from my personal experience of navigating similar cultural, generational, and racial clashes to better support you.

As a South Asian TCK psychotherapist who grew up in both the US and Europe, I deeply understand the complexities of adapting to new cultures while holding onto the core values that form an integral part of our identities. Navigating life's transitions often leaves us without time to process the shifts in our emotional world. My primary mission in therapy is to guide you in exploring and resolving pent up feelings with compassionate awareness and care. Our sessions will be a collaborative exploration of tough emotional experiences, in a space that is safe and connected.

I work well with clients seeking help with stress management, relationship issues, goal attainment, or issues related to emotion and self-esteem.
