Welcome. I provide therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Much of my clinical experience is with youth who struggle with psychiatric concerns such as depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, as well as youth who have been victims of trauma and abuse. I also have extensive experience working with youth in the LGBTQ+ community. I aim to always provide empathy and non-judgmental support during periods of difficulty, change, and transition for youth and help them build the skills to be happy, healthy, and successful individuals with meaningful and fulfilling interpersonal relationships.

The Koch Center (located in Montclair, Waldwick, Morristown, & Englewood) specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Therapy and Programs for Adults, Adolescents, Middle Schoolers, and Families. Our Intensive DBT Programs offer an opportunity to receive extensive support and expert treatment in an outpatient setting. We treat the full range of psychological issues (including Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Impulse Control Disorders, Eating Disorders, Trauma, Relationship Problems, Personality Disorders). We have a Trauma Program for adults. We also offer individual therapy from varying theoretical orientations.

Dr Dena Felsen is a highly experienced licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her Bachelors and Masters degree from Columbia University and her doctorate from Yeshiva University. Dr. Felsen completed her pre and postdoctoral training at St. lukes Roosevelt Hopsital, Lenox Hill Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center. She has extensive specialty training in Womens health, Depression and Eating Disorders. She served as Director of a Day Treatment Program and worked extensively in the field of Eating Disorders. Dr. Felsen works closely with referring physicians and nutritionists to help individuals establish a proper level of care and treatment plan.
