I am thoughtful and kind, passionate about bringing people to a newfound perspective about themselves and what they’re bringing to therapy. I will bring you empowerment, awareness, and capability through ideas, experiments, and insights. I am excited to get to know you deeply as a human being, and share moments of realization about how parts of your life and self link together to explain what you’re going through now. Our exploration will be conscious of how environmental and structural forces influence and shape you, as well as how we relate to one another.

The Center for Holistic Intervention utilizes holistic and innovative therapeutic approaches to foster an individual's self-awareness, self-empowerment, and self-determination. In nurturing your self-awareness, you can gain insight and identify your adaptive and maladaptive behavioral patterns. Hence, you can learn how to develop more adaptive automatic thoughts, core beliefs, and behavioral responses with a series of cognitive restructuring and behavioral activities. Ultimately, helping you acknowledge the possibility of accepting the things you can and cannot change in your life.

Navigating through life’s everyday stressors is a daunting task. Emotions can be difficult to manage, and you may feel overwhelmed by personal, familial, and societal expectations. Gathering the necessary tools and techniques to lead a healthy and a successful life are attainable and in your future.

Ever catch yourself saying, “This isn’t like me” or “I’m just not feeling like myself lately?” If you are struggling to manage emotions, identify and establish boundaries or find yourself overthinking, you could find yourself with little to no energy to pour in to what matters most. With the right support, you can redirect your energy to serve you and (re)connect with what is important to you.

Therapy is not always comfortable as you begin to unravel so many difficult narratives at times. Whether you have been through one difficult experience or multiple hardships or you have resolved trauma that has resurface. Therapy is a step of bravery in your healing journey. I will always lean on you to set the tone, as I am a firm believer that individuals are experts on their lives and know what they need. As your counselor I will consistently work to provide a non judgmental space that is free of pressures and allows transparency. It is in such a space that healing and introspection can be fostered to reach your goals.

We are humans of connection and our development can be burdened by the moments of disengagement. I truly believe in the ability of the individual. Many of the obstacles in our lives are either created or transformed by the circles we hold. From the family you may have to the one you may have come from, from the friends in your surrounding, to the partner you share your life with. We attract what we are and success is greatest when achieved together. Life can be like a bucket under a dripping ceiling, it can withstand a lot, but eventually overflows.

I strongly believe in the power of therapy. I am convinced that the quality of one’s life can be drastically improved even in the worst cases of mental health disorders. I speculate that if only people knew how tremendously their lives could be improved, they would not hesitate a single second and would find assistance right away.
