My goal is to create a safe space where everyone can feel heard and validated. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief, and transitional issues. I have a passion for working with adolescents, both individually and with their families. Adolescence can be a challenging times for families and I believe in creating an open environment for encouraging both communication and the acceptance of needed privacy. I have extensive training and experience in systemic family therapy. This means that I am able to treat not only the individual, but also the entire family of origin, where appropriate.

I provide individual psychotherapy to improve emotional and mental health. I am experienced in the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders in adults, as well as behavioral issues in adolescents and teenagers. I have specialized training in working with those dealing with relationship issues, family conflict, low self-esteem and school problems.

I firmly believe that life is easier lived when lived in relationship. In relationship, we can receive support, understanding, growth, and acceptance, making difficult life experiences much more bearable. We find and make relationships in so many domains; at home, with friends, in communities, and even with a therapist. That is why I think finding a therapist you feel safe with is so important.

I offer a safe, supportive, confidential therapeutic environment. As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC) for the state of New Jersey, I work with individuals, couples, families and offer recovery supportive groups therapy. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, and substance abuse.

While offering online only right now, I work mostly with kids and teens. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, parent support. I work with your family to make sure we are addressing all areas that may contribute to the current stressor. This is done supportively, collaboratively, and with a lot of positivity and encouragement.
