Hi, I’m Jen Makin, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor who specializes in supporting girls and women through life’s toughest challenges. I have over 15 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including LDS Family Services, and advanced training in crisis management. I focus on helping women heal from trauma, narcissistic abuse, emotional abuse, and the lasting effects of betrayal—creating a safe, supportive environment where they can rebuild stability, strengthen self-worth, and restore emotional balance.
My approach is DBT-focused, and I believe in teaching emotional self-reliance through healthy boundaries. I create a safe, supportive space where women and girls can heal from trauma, self-harming behaviors, narcissistic abuse and the lasting effects of betrayal. Together, we work to rebuild relationships, strengthen self-worth, and restore stability.
