My approach is rooted in liberation and self-determination, and I enjoy working collaboratively with folks. I see therapy as a partnership where we seek to understand what has shaped you, explore what it looks like to live in alignment with your values, and work on strategies to get there. Also, our personal struggles also often reflect the larger systems we live within and many of the challenges people face are rooted in trauma, oppression, or disconnection. Healing must honor those realities, and I draw from trauma-informed, relational, and strengths-based approaches. I view healing as both personal and political.
How would you like to feel? I can support you with things like setting boundaries and building trust. Or perhaps healing from trauma or burnout. We can explore the impact of anger/resentment and/or how to move with grief. We can work on navigating identity and change. I love supporting folks in finding belonging, joy and cultivating a sense of purpose.
In sessions I hold space for exploration and accountability, for grief and growth, for anger and renewal. I want therapy to be a place where you can unpack what’s been weighing on you, build tools for resilience, and reconnect with your power and purpose.
