With over 17 years of experience across youth development, adult services, and community-based mental health programming, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families in New York City, Baltimore, and the Metro Richmond area. These experiences have shaped my belief that healing is deeply personal and that meaningful change happens within the context of trust, safety, and authentic connection.
As a Black male therapist, I understand the importance of cultural humility, lived experience, and the impact that systemic stressors, identity, and trauma can have on mental health. I am especially intentional about creating a space where clients who have felt unseen, misunderstood, or silenced—can show up fully and honestly, without fear of judgment.
