I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, and problem gambling. I have experience working with clients struggling with issues surrounding racial and LGBTQ+ injustice, men’s health, and religion. In addition to these issues, I also provide therapy services in Spanish. I strive to maintain a safe environment for individuals to explore serious issues. I want to validate that the decision to improve on one's mental health is often the hardest decisions that someone can make.
Because not all styles of therapy are one-size-fits-all, I utilize an integrated approach to therapy to ensure that I implement effective strategies and interventions that fits everyone’s needs. I utilize Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy among many others.
Change can be challenging for anyone and I believe that managing the changes in life can be facilitated with therapy. My goals as a therapist are to offer individuals the opportunity to identify and build on their strengths, help create meaningful solutions, and build trust with the people under my care.
