The current climate of our society has been a stressful and enduring situation for people which has lead to or uncovered trauma, anxiety, or other overwhelming thoughts. It can be difficult to navigate these mental health stressors by ourselves or even with the support of friends and family. This is why reaching out for professional support can be impactful as you are able to discuss stressors in an empathic space and gain healthy coping skills.
As a provisional counselor, I am able to work alongside you from a cognitive behavioral approach that will illuminate maladaptive beliefs or other harmful thoughts. We will also include mindfulness approaches to ground ourselves in situations that we may find distressing.
Discussing with a stranger about your problems can be an intimidating experience. Please know that if you would like to connect with me, you will be met with care and understanding. I am excited to start or be apart of this mental health journey with you!
