Through talking together, I help you make sense of ways of being you are aware of, and listen for those that are unconscious to you, so that you can become more of an active participant in your life.
I practice psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy, focusing on exploring the past's influence on the present, with special attention to relationships in your life. I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, grief, life stress, and life transitions. I have particular interest in working with people exploring existential dilemmas.
My approach is sincere and honest, humorous and playful. I understand that building a trusting relationship takes time! I do not rush to interpret your life; instead, I take time to get to know you. Psychotherapy is but one of many ways to move towards healing. My hope is that through this work you feel more connection with yourself and your community.
