My ideal client is an adult or couple looking to find support in managing daily life or adjusting to change. This could include searching for a sense of identity/belonging, experiencing a sense of loss, experiencing mental health symptoms, and coping with life's general difficulties. When meeting with someone my goal is to provide a bubble of safety and to act as a pole of trust. For each person to know that I can sit with them in the weight of what they have been carrying, and walk alongside through this path of discovery.
I utilize a Person Centered holistic approach in order to undersand the intricacies that impact each individual. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) interventions to empower others to find their voice and inner strength.
I enjoy spending time with my spouse, our dog, and our cat. I am a seamstress, painter, and gardener. I am often found curled up on a comfy sofa with a book and a cup of hot coffee. I value honesty, living a life full of laughter, and expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve others. I look forward to working with you!
