I know firsthand what it feels like to show up for myself, even when I don’t feel it. As a Black woman, it is hard to live authentically in a society that makes you feel like you aren’t enough or that your mental health is fiction. My goal is to help people find a place of equilibrium so that they become the best version of themselves. I enjoy helping clients cope with feelings of stress, worry, cognitive distortions, issues with self-esteem and perception. Much like in my everyday life, I provide a non-judgmental approach to therapy to create a safe space to be your unapologetic and authentic self.
My approach is strength focused, holistic, hands-on, creative, and evidence based. You can expect to be met right where you are at, all while moving at a pace that will not overwhelm you, yet at the same time, push you outside your comfort zone.
I have worked with clients in a juvenile community-based setting, private practice, and educational settings. M approach comes from an empathetic and non-judgmental place. I believe every person deserves someone who will listen. I specialize in working with children and adolescents, while continuing to expand my practice with adults.
