Too often, women are told that their symptoms are "just part of becoming a mom." We spend months preparing for birth and caring for a baby, but very little time, if any, preparing for a mother's mental health. My goal is to help women recognize the early signs of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, understand what they're experiencing, and know they don't have to wait until they're in crisis to ask for help. Many of my clients are also adolescents and young adults who might feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or like they're carrying more than anyone realizes. Maybe it's become easier to just say "I'm fine" than to be misunderstood.

My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, meaning I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. I'm also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and use evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
