I value overall authenticity and strive to create a safe space for clients in which they feel they can show up as their true selves. I never use the big light, and always keep my candy jar and fidget basket full, so that clients feel comfortable in our space together. I continually remind myself that it is a privilege to engage in my work everyday and earn a client's trust.
I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and couples, and enjoy working with individuals ages 16+. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology with minors in Writing and Peace Building & Social Justice from Mount Union and Master's from Kent State. I utilize techniques from (but not limited to) Family Systems, CBT, neuroscience, and mindfulness.
Some of my favorite ways to practice self-care involve trying new coffee shops with my spouse, going to the gym, reading, and thrifting. If you are ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I would be honored to get to know your story and assist you in accomplishing your goals!
