Unlike psychiatry where medication is prescribed to prevent your feelings from being experienced, my practice focuses on clarifying what your symptoms are conveying to you. In understanding the messages we receive from ourself the changes we make in the spaces and relationships we occupy are more personal and natural.
My procedure is to stabilize primary disturbances and concerns (e.g., decrease symptoms of anxiety &/ depression). Thereafter, the focus is to identify where meaningful adjustments can be made in regards to our internal and external environments. Typically this results in reparative skills as well as preventative.
