Primarily based in CBT intervention with availability for Christian and Pastoral Counseling, I specialize in multiculturally sensitive interventions for all and in particular to African-American and Latino communities. I also offer psychoeducational seminars to churches and community organizations on "Making Healthy Choices." Recent training permits me to add scripture and prayer to clinically sound therapeutic interventions for those who desire spirituality in treatment. I have over 40 years of Child Welfare and Mental Health Intervention and training. Olive Branch provides "peace and goodwill to God's beloved" and works with all ages.
Some clients prefer to work with a therapist of their own culture. In addition to serving all cultures, I have extensive experience in both direct service and teaching regarding African-American culture. An adjunct to counseling is additional consultation to pastors who lack clinical skills for congregants.
