I believe the counseling process needs to be tailored to the needs of each individual and the client-therapist relationship is very important in effectively addressing life situations and emotional pain. My education and experience has prepared me to counsel individuals, couples, and families. I have over 15 years of expertise providing support during time of transition to clients interested in this person-centered approach. I am trained in EMDR (for trauma) and PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy.) I love working with individuals and couples to improve the relationship with self and others.
We will discuss different approaches to therapy and identify the approach to best address your needs and explore ways to achieve your goals. I was initially trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but I have an eclectic therapeutic approach incorporating experiential modalities (EMDR & Hakomi) for individual therapy and PACT for couples therapy.
