I earned my MSW at Simmons University and my B.S. in Psychology at the University of North Carolina Asheville. I approach my clinical work from a human lens, seeking to meet each client wherever they may be in their life.
While having studied many therapeutic modalities, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to meet clients’ specific needs, I also draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I have worked closely with children, adolescents, and adults living with stress, trauma, severe and persistent mental health, grief, and addiction. I want to help others achieve mental health wellness. I affirm the value of diversity and difference in my professional relationships, and practices as an ally to BIPOC, and LGBTQIA + individuals.
