I see children, adolescents and adults for individual therapy and couples therapy. I utilize a client centered approach where I give unconditional positive regard to my clients in a non-judgmental therapeutic setting. I have seen clients meet their treatment goals and develop positive coping skills to effectively manage their distressing symptoms. The greatest gift of therapy is the therapeutic alliance between the therapist and the client that elicits change and allows the client to use the tools that they have learned to make lifelong gains.
I am the president/owner of KCS Counseling, Ltd. I have 16 years of experience working in crisis services, in community mental health, in a public school, in a private therapeutic day school and in private practice.
I have a professional educator license endorsed in school social work which has afforded me the opportunity to gain knowledge in special education laws and procedures. My office is on the second floor and is handicapped accessible by elevator. I have convenient appointment times available in the evening and on weekends.
