I am a Marriage and Family Therapist that has been in practice for 41 years and in that time I have developed an eclectic approach to working with many issues. I consider myself flexible and accommodating as it pertains to the individual needs of my clients because I work within their system of values and beliefs. I offer Individual, couple, marital and family sessions. As a Registered Play Therapist, I provide a Prescriptive Approach to working with 3-12 year old clients. I have a working knowledge of many different mental health issues but I am more likely than not to refer someone with a Drug and Alcohol Addiction to a colleague.
I work with children, youth, adults, couples, and families. I use my other specialty in Play Therapy to work with children, adolescents and families from age 2-12. Specialties: Sexual Trauma, Domestic Violence Survivors, Attachment Issues, Childhood Trauma, PTSD, DID, Depression, Anxiety, Premarital Counseling, Marital Conflict, and Family Counseling.
In addition to my Private Practice I have also presented on Sexual Violence/ Domestic Violence (State and Local Level). I have presented on Play Therapy at the International level - Every Symptom Tells a Story, and at the State Level - Using Games in Play Therapy, Ethics, Between Languages, Dissociation, and Trauma.
