I have experience working with clients of all ages in chronic illness, trauma, depression, anxiety, abusive relationships, grief, religious trauma, healthy skills for relationships, and more.
My goal as a therapist is to help others become the best version of themselves. I work with and support my clients to achieve mental and emotional well-being while discovering themselves. Too often, we shy away from help because we are ashamed, afraid, or don't understand the process. I believe everyone can benefit from time in therapy and become the author of their own story.

As an EMDRIA-Certified EMDR therapist, I specialize in anxiety, trauma, and PTSD using brain-based approaches like EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic work to help your nervous system release what talk therapy couldn't reach.
You’ve talked about it, analyzed it, and tried to move on. Yet the anxiety and emotional pain keep returning. Insight and talk therapy haven’t brought the relief you hoped for. You need more than coping skills or another worksheet. You want healing at the root, to feel calmer, trust yourself, and actually stay that way.

Many of the clients I work with are carrying invisible burdens—grief that feels unsharable, conflict that won’t resolve, or a deep sense that something in their life or relationships just isn’t working. They often feel stuck in patterns that create distance rather than connection and long to feel truly seen, heard, and valued. Whether they’re navigating emotional pain, relational strain, or spiritual questions, they’re searching for healing, clarity, and a path forward that honors both their story and their faith. They want real change, lasting growth, and the freedom to live with greater peace, purpose, and connection.

I treat adults with histories of trauma, PTSD/C- PTSD, anxiety, depression, sexual addiction or sexual issues, neurodivergence, existential or spiritual concerns, difficulty with life transitions and relationships, insomnia, and sleep issues.
Many of us believe we should have everything figured out, but it's normal to feel lost at times or struggle to understand ourselves. Maybe you long for meaning, authenticity, and connection, but often life feels like something you’re just pushing through. Moving forward requires deeply understanding ourselves, examining past wounds, challenging limiting beliefs, and even facing parts of ourselves we prefer to ignore. This journey is easier with a compassionate guide who offers non-judgmental support and curiosity, and who can help support you as you work through difficult emotions and patterns to build a life you enjoy.

Trauma doesn't just happen in the past - it lives in the body, relationships, and everyday life.
My approach is both intuitive and integrative. I use a blend of trauma informed practices - like EMDR, somatic therapy and Internal Family Systems - but also trust the wisdom of your story. Healing, for me, is not just about symptom relief, it's about restoration, empowerment, and deep transformation.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
