Facing the challenges of daily living can be overwhelming. I can help you get back on track in as little as 4 sessions. I'm a doctoral level licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people overcome these challenges. I use therapies that work to help my clients identify and challenge negative thoughts and behaviors, develop coping mechanisms, and build resilience. I also emphasize the importance of self-compassion and self-acceptance in the healing process. I understand that therapy can be daunting, but I'm here to create a safe and supportive space where you can grow.

I work with couples and individuals who want to repair and strengthen their relationships. Many come in feeling stuck in cycles of conflict, betrayal, or emotional distance. My approach draws on attachment science and the Continuum of Human Relational Bonding (CHRB) to help clients understand the deeper safety needs shaping their reactions. Together we develop practical skills to rebuild trust, improve communication, and create more resilient relationships.

The greatest journey we can take in life is one of enlightenment and awareness. The ideal client is one who is on the path to discovering the real you. The problem with life is that we exist in a society that is full of stress, anxiety, and many more life challenges that seem to stifle the beauty that’s found all around us and within us. Much of life then, is learning to pull back the layers that keep us trapped from reaching our full potential. Brandon utilizes a bottom up approach to holistic therapy that is designed to treat the whole person.

I enjoy working with people who feel “stuck”in certain behaviors or situations, like addictions, depression, or obsessive and compulsive behavior - behavior that tends to undermine their sense of worth. I like working with adults and adolescents, couples, and families. People who have issues related to religious beliefs or matters of faith are another area of specialty.

My work with preschoolers, children, adolescents and adults began 30 years ago. I have been in private practice in Tulsa since 2000 and starting in 2005 I have developed a special interest in Autism including becoming one of ten DIR/Floortime Practitioners in Tulsa. I completed 4 years of psychoanalytic psychotherapy as a part of my training believing that all of us have struggles and those who have worked through their troubles are the most qualified to help those who are troubled.

It's that time of the year again. The holidays are behind us and we are officially in the first leg of the marathon that is 2026. Maybe you started off strong and can not figure out how you got off track so fast, or it may feel like you started out behind the curve again this year. How do you reconnect with yourself, your partner, or even your purpose? How do you navigate this life when it feels like everything is on fire? You're tired of just barely keeping your head above water while pretending everything is okay. It's time for a change. And maybe it's time to reach out and find someone to help you along the way.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
As a man, why might I want to see a male therapist?
There are many reasons a man might wish to work with a male therapist, including a degree of shared identity, which may help client and therapist connect to each other and allow for a more free-flowing discussion of issues that can be deeply personal. Some men may feel more comfortable talking to a male therapist about relationship concerns, the pressures they feel around the roles society and family place on men, career or job challenges, self-esteem, or anger problems. For some men who have not had a male role models in their lives, a good male therapist may be especially helpful.

How can I find out about a therapist’s experience treating men?
Individuals looking for treatment should feel comfortable directly asking a therapist about their history treating men overall and the issues that arise in therapy with men. A good therapist will be happy to discuss such matters as well as their educational background, approach to treatment, and how they think they can aid a prospective client.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist of the same gender?
Therapy is not gender-specific, but some men as well as women feel more comfortable opening up about their experiences and history with therapists of a specific gender. An individual may feel that they have to explain less background information and be on the same page more quickly, particularly when discussing gender-specific challenges. That said, a good clinician can transcend most if not all gender concerns. Ultimately, the most important factor in therapy is the connection and trust the client is able to build with the practitioner.

Would a male therapist have specific training in treating men?
Generally, no. There are no certifications for treating men specifically, but there are continuing education classes that therapists may take that focus on treating men as a group. There are many therapists who focus on men and male issues in their treatment and therefore have experience and expertise in this domain.
