You feel trapped in cycles of unwanted thoughts, fears, or painful memories. It seems like the only way to cope is to escape the pain, distract yourself, or quiet your mind at any cost? Over time, these patterns can slowly shrink your world, leaving you disconnected from yourself, your relationships, and the life you once imagined. You may struggle with trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, or other challenges, and it feels isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. I can help you face your fears, process and release shame or guilt, and regain a sense of control and clarity.

Life’s challenges can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain of the next step. I believe healing begins with connection—with having a safe space to be yourself and feel truly understood. In our work together, I’ll help you explore your story, discover your strengths, and find creative ways to approach challenges. Sometimes that looks like conversation and reflection, and sometimes it means using unique approaches like storytelling, roleplay, or problem-solving in new ways. Wherever you are in your journey, I want to meet you there and help you take the next step forward.

I am deeply client-centered and believe the "person of therapist" is critical to the therapeutic connection while practicing an eclectic mix of evidence-based individual models, and attachment-based family and marriage models.
If your relationship feels like it's falling apart — or you're carrying pain you can't put into words — you don't have to figure it out alone. I work with couples on the edge of giving up who want one more real shot. Men who've been told to "tough it out" their whole lives and are finally ready for something different. Individuals navigating broken trust, grief, anxiety, sexual addiction, painful transitions, and the kind of emotional weight that makes everyday life heavier than it should be. I also offer faith-integrated counseling for those who want it — but it's never assumed or required.

You’re motivated and self-aware, but your mind doesn’t always slow down. On the outside, it may look like you have it all together but inside, you’re overthinking, questioning yourself, and pushing past your limits. You’re not alone and you don’t have to do this by yourself.
I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, self-criticism, and boundaries. Many are helpers, healers, and creatives. I see many empathetic people who care deeply for others while often neglecting their own needs. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming and allied therapist, committed to offering culturally responsive, inclusive care to all.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I believe that healing is a journey that already lives within each of us. Therapy, to me, is a collaborative process—one where the therapist walks alongside the client, offering guidance, support, and tools as they discover their own path toward wholeness. SE is a gentle, powerful approach developed by Dr. Peter Levine that helps the nervous system renegotiate trauma rather than relive it. It supports people of all ages.

Your story is worthy of witnessing and exploration. Trauma and chronic stress can block our ability to find words, recall memories, and feel connected with our bodies. By intentionally weaving talk therapy with experiential methods like drama therapy and psychodrama, the whole body is invited into healing. This allows the nervous system to shift from “fight, flight, and freeze” responses to a grounded connectedness- both within the body and in relationship with others. Though hard work, it’s also play; a co-created journey, finding wellbeing and joy.

Attachment-based Therapists
Is attachment-based therapy the same as attachment therapy?
Attachment-based therapy may be confused with what is called “attachment therapy” (sometimes called “holding therapy”), a discredited and dangerous approach to treating children with attachment disorders, autism, or other mental health concerns. Attachment therapy—not attachment-based therapy—may involve restraining a child, forcing eye contact, and other coercive or abusive techniques. None of these practices are used in attachment-based therapy and the two modalities are in no way related.
What should I expect from attachment-based therapy?
Attachment-based therapy is based on attachment theory, which posits that children’s early relationships with their caregivers strongly influence their ability to navigate the world later in life. Thus, adults who seek attachment-based therapy should expect to deeply explore their childhood, identifying the dynamics or experiences that disrupted their attachment and the steps necessary to overcome challenges that arose as a result. Parents and children should expect to explore the possible factors that disrupted the parent-child relationship and work toward restoring trust and connection.
How long does attachment-based therapy last?
Certain forms of attachment-based therapy, especially those designed for parents and children, last for a set number of sessions; for example, Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up, a specific attachment-based approach for young children who have undergone early adversity, unfolds over 10 one-hour sessions. When attachment-based therapy is practiced on adults or combined with other modalities, it may not last a specific length of time; clients may wish to ask prospective therapists how long they expect treatment to take.
Does attachment-based therapy work?
Most of the research on attachment-based therapy focuses on children and adolescents. Some of this research shows a positive effect, especially for attachment-based family therapy (ABFT). Other studies, however, have found that attachment-based therapy is no more effective than other approaches to childhood depression, anxiety, or suicidality. Less is known about the therapy’s efficacy on adult populations.
