Taking the first step to come to counseling can feel scary, especially if this is your first time. I want every client I see to feel safe, comfortable, and heard. My approach to therapy is very down-to-earth, professional, non-judgmental, and warm. You are driving the car, and I am simply helping point out the road signs. I see women from all walks of life struggling with a variety or life stressors from depression, to life transitions, anxiety, stress, and any other issue that could be a roadblock to living a fulfilling life. I treat many pregnant and postpartum moms, as well as many professional working women.

One of the biggest obstacles that we have to deal with is change. But what is interesting is that we go through some type of change every moment, from a psychological, emotional or physical experience. I believe that in order to deal with life changing events, we have to learn how to adapt in a manner that provides the least amount of discomfort. And because we are unique, there are no perfect therapeutic techniques or procedures that makes us change. If the desire to change is present, either from an internal or external perspective, we have the ability to adapt.

Change is hard but so is feeling stuck. I can help you manage anxiety or depression, work through difficult experiences and adjust coping mechanisms that no longer work for you. Experiences from the past or present can leave us feeling tangled in our thoughts and uncertain about how to move forward. Therapy is a space to explore your inner world and practice working with your brain instead of against it. I believe that thoughts and behaviors are best addressed through a lens of curiosity rather than judgement so we can build self-compassion while making meaningful change. Feeling like yourself is possible.

Many of my clients come to me after trying therapy before and feeling like something was missing. They’ve gained insight… but the anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional patterns are still there. That’s where my approach is different. I combine Rapid Resolution Therapy, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness-based techniques to help resolve the root cause of what you’re experiencing—so you’re not just coping, you’re actually changing. This work doesn’t require you to relive painful experiences or analyze your past over and over. Instead, we work with how your mind naturally processes information to create shifts that feel fast, natural, and last

I believe true healing takes place when we can share our story, our pain and suffering, and our deepest thoughts and feelings in a safe place. Therapy is an investment in the self and in our relationships. It's a healing of the soul. My goal is to create a space where you can feel understood and comfortable to share, learn about yourself, and grow.

Life experiences impact how we see, perceive, and interact with the world around us. When these experiences are traumatic or even just difficult in nature, sometimes it helps to seek out someone who can help you discover the tools needed to mend or create new paths back into healthy relationships. Play is the language of children. In my daily work with children and their families, I find that play often builds bridges where words fall short.
