Facing the challenges of daily living can be overwhelming. I can help you get back on track in as little as 4 sessions. I'm a doctoral level licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people overcome these challenges. I use therapies that work to help my clients identify and challenge negative thoughts and behaviors, develop coping mechanisms, and build resilience. I also emphasize the importance of self-compassion and self-acceptance in the healing process. I understand that therapy can be daunting, but I'm here to create a safe and supportive space where you can grow.

You work hard. Life’s been heavy. Therapy shouldn’t make it harder. I help everyday people—students, workers, parents, caregivers, tradespeople, first responders—deal with stress, anxiety, burnout, and life’s curveballs. You don’t need fancy language or a perfect plan to start the therapy process. You just need a confidential space where you can be real, be heard, and get individualized support that actually helps. I help with -Stress, anxiety, and emotional overload -Relationship and family struggles -Work pressure, burnout, and life balance -Grief, loss, and tough transitions -Self-worth, boundaries, and feeling stuck.

In therapy, I strive to create an environment where every client feels seen, heard and understood. I believe the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is a powerful vessel for healing and change. I hope therapy can be a safe place where you are able to heal and grow! Therapy can provide: new mental health tools to improve quality of life, a place to explore hard issues, and collaboration for creating a healthier family or relationship dynamic. Therapy can also provide tools to grieve past experiences or simply a place to learn more about yourself.

I work with individuals carrying some of life's heaviest burdens — infertility, pregnancy loss, grief, and trauma.
Healing rarely happens on a schedule — which is why I let you lead. I'm trained in EMDR and other evidence-based therapies, and I weave them into sessions that feel less like clinical work and more like finally being truly heard. You bring what you have. We'll go from there.

Things are happening faster than you can keep up with. The stressors pile up, people need you, and you just can't keep doing this the same way anymore. Maybe your head is constantly spinning with worry, you lash out, or you feel shut off and detached from your life. Maybe all of the above. In pregnancy and postpartum, hormonal changes, identity shifts, your own childhood reminders, and things being so much different than you imagined can complicate things quickly. You deserve to speak your truth and be cared for, too.

Do you feel like you’re stuck or just struggling to get through daily life? Do you feel like old patterns or habits from your past are interfering with your present? This can be very discouraging, and it’s common for people with a history of trauma. Unfortunately, many people are unaware of the impact of trauma. This can lead to emotional disturbances, like anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. We all face challenges at one point or another in our lives, and I don't believe we're meant to go through them alone.

In my practice, I have enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and adults who are wanting to live a healthy life. I have found that people of all ages sometimes find it difficult to communicate their emotions. We aren’t handed an emotions communication manual for today’s world. Plus, the world around us is constantly changing and this can cause us to adapt and survive the best way we know how.

Do you wake up with a heavy sense that you’re simply not enough? The tension in your body doesn't seem to go away? You might even feel like you deserve the pain you’re carrying. It’s exhausting to live in a body that feels like a prison of past hurts. You may feel shackled by the hope for things to be different, yet unsure how to get there. Trauma and invalidating environments may have caused you deep pain, and that is not the wholeness of you. You deserve to be heard and seen by someone who understands that you are not your worst moments. I would be honored to help you find relief, healing and joy on the other side of suffering.

You may be used to telling yourself that what you're feeling isn't that bad, that other people have it worse, or that you should just keep going. Many of my clients are capable, dependable adults who have spent years being the steady one for others. Over time, that kind of quiet endurance can lead to anxiety, emotional numbness, or a sense of disconnection from yourself. I offer a calm, respectful space to slow things down. Therapy here isn't about fixing you or pushing for change before you're ready. It's about helping you understand what you've been carrying and how to take care of yourself without guilt or pressure.

Infertility Therapists
How can infertility affect couples and their relationship?
Clients who are dealing with infertility may experience conflict and communication problems. It’s not unusual for shame, blame, and guilt to arise in cases of infertility, whether the source of the problem is one partner or both. This means that clients are upset and pulling away from their partner just when they need them the most. Some clients may find it difficult to spend time around friends and family who are pregnant. Friends and family can also make hurtful comments that increase tension during this time.

How does therapy for infertility issues work?
The therapist will begin by gathering information about the client or couple and make a treatment plan for their specific concerns. In addition to addressing common mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma reactions or PTSD, therapists can help clients improve their decision-making and deal with stressors unique to infertility. Some examples include coping with the “two-week wait” before a pregnancy test, the distress associated with a failed attempt or miscarriage, and the shame and blame sometimes associated with reproductive concerns.

What type of therapy is best for infertility issues?
Many therapists offer psychotherapy for individuals and couples who are dealing with infertility issues. Some helpful therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which can aid clients in reframing negative thoughts about their situation. Expressive writing and art therapy can help clients process difficult feelings. Clients might also benefit from group therapy to experience support from others who are dealing with the same problems.

How long does therapy for infertility issues take?
There is no set length for therapy that addresses infertility or reproductive concerns. Some clients might find it helpful to continue therapy during their pregnancy to have healthy ways to cope with any associated stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma. Some clients who decide not to pursue fertility treatments might benefit from the support of a therapist. The duration of therapy varies depending on the individual client’s specific needs and goals.
