My passion and purpose is to assist people in finding peace and healing in a way that is painless. I have observed that the imprints of some experiences have been continuing to cause pain, emotional unrest, and have been affecting how the person interacts with themselves, their loved ones, and the world. I earnestly believe that NOTHING is wrong with YOU! The problem has been with the way the mind has been processing information and through the use of Rapid Resolution Therapy we can make a significant difference in how you have been thinking, feeling, acting, and reacting.

For each of us, for better or worse the past follows into our future. We enjoy comforting memories of nurturing loved ones, and the resiliance that is the gift of a coach saying it's ok, just dust off and try again. Even those of us with the best of lives have experiences that haunt, too. Hurtful comments become sources of shame and guilt. Betrayals become inability to trust. Failed efforts turn to procrastination and avoidance. Grief, grudges, worries and feelings of overwhelm are normal experiences too. When old stories seep into your present robbing you of the joy you desire, it's time to talk.

If you find yourself struggling, feeling like a mess, or just lost in the thick of life.... it can really cause turmoil and increase the "suck" for daily life. Maybe you're dealing with life transitions and children getting older and not really sure how to navigate those things. Hey, then there is grief and loss... even better, a life of trauma, or a traumatic event has happened and you feel stuck in the depressive state. Marriage and relationships, learning how to have healthy boundaries or even finding a way to feel ok with where you are in life.... You're in the right place. You have taken the first step!

Sometimes we need extra support. Whether it’s because you've just been through something hard, are adjusting to a new season of life like motherhood, or are navigating things after trauma, you don't have to do it alone. In our time together, you'll find a space where you can be fully, authentically yourself. I believe healing happens when you have the space and feel truly heard. I'll listen deeply, move at your pace, and help you make sense of what's been weighing on you.

You are incredibly self-aware. You know your patterns, and you know exactly which ones are costing you your peace, your self-respect, and your relationships. Yet, in the heat of the moment, that knowledge doesn’t seem to matter. Your nervous system takes over, and you find yourself reacting in the same old ways—triggered by past pain or stuck in a cycle of emotional exhaustion. It is frustrating to feel like you are "knowing better" but not "doing better." If you have tried therapy before and found that simply venting about your past didn't actually give you the tools to change your present, you are in the right place.

Now Accepting New Clients You feel trapped in cycles of unwanted thoughts, fears, or painful memories. It seems like the only way to cope is to escape the pain, distract yourself, or quiet your mind at any cost? Over time, these patterns can slowly shrink your world, leaving you disconnected from yourself, your relationships, and the life you once imagined. You may struggle with trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, or other challenges, and it feels isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. I can help you face your fears, process and release shame or guilt, and regain a sense of control and clarity.

I have special training in trauma, marriage, substance abuse, and grief.
I was trained as a safety engineer in Chicago, focusing on systems or how people get their needs met. Later, I was trained as a marriage and family therapist in the Canadian Rockies. I bring a different perspective to the therapy couch due to life experience and training. I’ve been practicing for over 15 years and provide a Christ-centered approach to therapy. I use an attachment lens to develop strong emotional bonds with others. Attachment theory is simply a way of understanding our default positions in relationships t. I enjoy working with couples and families and helping couples "fall in love again".

Domestic Abuse Therapists
What are the most effective ways to recover from domestic abuse?
Leaving an abusive relationship requires tremendous courage, so survivors in treatment should recognize that they have already completed the most important step. Still, the trauma of physical or emotional abuse can be difficult to process and overcome. Therapy can help survivors process trauma, grief, and difficult emotions, treat relevant mental health symptoms, and create a new framework for boundaries and relationships in the future. For some, support groups can also be an invaluable outlet for healing.

When should an individual seek help for domestic abuse?
Victims of intimate partner violence should seek help immediately. It can take substantial time, planning, energy, and courage to leave an abusive relationship, but starting the process—by seeking therapy, calling the domestic violence hotline, or simply confiding in a loved one—will help them get there. Those who have left abusive relationships but haven’t sought treatment can also greatly benefit from therapy to process and heal from the experience.

What are the consequences of staying in an abusive relationship?
Remaining in an abusive relationship has serious repercussions. In addition to the ongoing threat of physical danger and emotional abuse, research shows that intimate partner violence is associated with a range of mental health disorders including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and substance abuse. Therefore it’s important for individuals in an abusive relationship to seek help as soon as possible.

How can you get domestic abuse treatment for someone else?
It can be very complicated to identify and leave an abusive relationship; barriers include the threat of violence, financial instability, and family pressures. Those concerned about a loved one in an abusive relationship should talk to them about the situation, provide them with resources such as the domestic violence hotline, and introduce the idea of seeing a therapist due to their concern for the person’s safety and well-being.
