Hi there, I'm Morgan! I help people quiet the inner critic, build self-trust, and reconnect with who they really are beneath perfectionism and people-pleasing. Together, we'll create space for self-compassion, healing, and genuine freedom from the weight of shame. If you're ready to feel more at ease in your own body, I'd be honored to walk that path with you. My approach blends IFS and EMDR with somatic practices and boundary-setting. I help clients identify the patterns that keep them stuck—like harsh self-talk or avoidance—and develop new ways to meet their needs with clarity and kindness.

Something within you wants to emerge, yet you feel stuck and bound by beliefs like, "I'm not good enough," "It's too late for me," "I am shameful," or, "I'm broken." Often you feel you're watching your life rather than living it. You love your people, but you struggle to express it fully. You are carrying the weight of broken systems and feel the ache of a deep grief you can't quite name. You started this work because you want to help; now you feel like you're always in trouble. You desperately want to connect to Spirit and community, but have been harmed by church or religion. You're ready to come home to your body, to your Self.

You're the one everyone counts on, but lately, you feel tired, stuck, or disconnected. You may be juggling family expectations, cultural pressures, or the lasting effects of trauma. You want relief from anxiety, overthinking, and burnout, and you're craving peace that actually lasts. You might speak Mandarin at home, English at work, or feel caught between worlds. You're ready for therapy that feels safe, flexible, and genuinely understands where you're coming from. Sessions are conducted in English. I also work well with bilingual clients who may occasionally speak Mandarin or come from Mandarin-speaking families.

Working in private practice with Evolution Mental Health Services. I am a LCSW and LADC/MH licensed to practice in Oklahoma. I focus on meeting a client where they are and walking with them as a partner to aid in addressing barriers, challenges, and developing healthy coping strategies. My approach is one of non-judgment that empowers clients to confidently interact with their world and learning how to balance emotion and reason. I ask that my clients come open and willing to explore the treatment process together, as a team, so we might identify barriers and work to overcome them, therapeutically.

Codependency Therapists
What therapy types help with codependency problems?
Both couples and family therapy and cognitive and behavioral therapy (CBT) can help with the relationship difficulties referred to as codependency. Such problems typically include inappropriate feelings of responsibility for a loved one’s destructive behavior, irrational patterns of thinking about such behavior, and family interaction patterns in which the needs of one troubled member override the needs of others in a household.

What happens in therapy for codependency?
Spouses and family members learn and practice how to interact and support each other in a healthy way without sacrificing their own needs or well-being. They learn the limits of their responsibility for their loved ones and correct faulty patterns of thinking and feeling that underlie codependent behavior. Individuals may be encouraged to nurture an array of social relationships and to cultivate their own talents and interests so that they develop a healthy sense of self outside the family.

How does therapy help a person or couple overcome codependency?
Therapy helps people establish healthy ways of being in a relationship. Spouses and family members learn how to nurture and support one another without sacrificing their own needs or allowing the needs of one person to dominate the dynamic. Individuals learn how to say no and set boundaries, and how to maintain their own identity and self-esteem. Therapy helps people understand that they are not responsible for the feelings and actions of others. It also helps individuals deal with the turbulence that can come from living with a person suffering from such conditions as substance abuse and mental illness.

What is the goal of therapy for codependency?
One goal of therapy for codependency is to alleviate feelings of responsibility for and correct irrational patterns of thinking about loved ones whose behavioral problems override the needs of others in a household. Therapy helps people establish healthy boundaries of behavior and speak up for their own needs in a relationship. In addition, people learn how to maintain a healthy relationship, one in which both parties give and receive equally and are able to retain their own identity.
