You’re constantly procrastinating and feel dread about even the little things because it’s all too much. You feel like you are failing at everything, when, in fact, you’re killing it. You spend your time doing everything for everyone else, while neglecting yourself and never feeling like you have done enough. You worry that the plates in the air will fall, and everyone will realize you are incapable and incompetent. It feels like a hard life is your destiny because of the trauma in your past. You want to break the cycle of that generational trauma, but you don’t know where to start. Sound familiar?

Are you the one everyone turns to, the caregiver, the strong friend, the helper, but lately you're burned out, anxious, or just numb? Maybe you've been holding yourself together for so long that you've lost touch with what you actually need. Or maybe you've survived something big like religious trauma, fertility struggles, chronic health issues and you're just now realizing how much of yourself you lost along the way.

Life has a funny way of creeping up on us and before we know it can be a lot for just one person to cope with. The nice thing to know is you do not have to handle it all alone. I practice evidenced based psychology which is effective in conquering various problems life throws our way. My main areas of focus are gender and sexual health care as well a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral problems.

Many of us believe we should have everything figured out, but it's normal to feel lost at times or struggle to understand ourselves. Maybe you long for meaning, authenticity, and connection, but often life feels like something you’re just pushing through. Moving forward requires deeply understanding ourselves, examining past wounds, challenging limiting beliefs, and even facing parts of ourselves we prefer to ignore. This journey is easier with a compassionate guide who offers non-judgmental support and curiosity, and who can help support you as you work through difficult emotions and patterns to build a life you enjoy.

I see therapy as a journey we take together to get you to a more comfortable place. The journey may be uncomfortable, funny, sad, awkward, and sometimes, even a little weird. I want to commit my space to be open and honest to allow for all those feelings and more. Everyone struggles and, as a therapist, I want clients to have a safe space to share without judgement but hope to find internal growth. I enjoy working with teens and young adults needing help overcoming trauma. I welcome everyone and hold a special place in my heart for the LGBTQIA+ community! I want to help those that need help, those specifics are irrelevant to me.

My ideal clients are people who are ready to feel better but aren't sure where to start — carrying trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or sexual health concerns they've never said out loud. I work alongside an incredible team at Inclusive Medical Group, and even if you only see me, I draw from my team's knowledge every day. Our pelvic floor physical therapist addresses the ways trauma and pain live in the body. Our play therapist meets kids where they are. We have strong working relationships built on real collaboration, and that shows up in your care.

As a therapist, I am passionate about working with people who are trying to make sense of the painful patterns in their lives. Often, the symptoms that bring people to therapy are an indication of deeper emotional wounds. The type of therapy I provide focuses on both resolving current symptoms and healing problematic relational patterns through the creation of a safe, consistent environment in which to understand the complexity of a person's experiences and history. Together we will work towards greater self-knowledge, compassion, and growth.

Change is hard but so is feeling stuck. I can help you manage anxiety or depression, work through difficult experiences and adjust coping mechanisms that no longer work for you. Experiences from the past or present can leave us feeling tangled in our thoughts and uncertain about how to move forward. Therapy is a space to explore your inner world and practice working with your brain instead of against it. I believe that thoughts and behaviors are best addressed through a lens of curiosity rather than judgement so we can build self-compassion while making meaningful change. Feeling like yourself is possible.

I am a secular therapist and take your privacy seriously (opted out of OK HIE, no AI use in session).
Many people come to therapy wanting relief from anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship challenges... those goals matter. But, therapy can be about more than symptom reduction. Using a blend of CBT and ACT, I help clients better understand themselves, clarify what’s most important to them, and make choices that align with the life they want to live. Influenced by Irvin Yalom’s belief in the healing power of a genuine therapeutic relationship, I bring authenticity, transparency, and directness to therapy. Change can be uncomfortable, so finding a therapist who provides the right balance of support and challenge is important.

I work with neurodivergent adults (ADHD, Autism) who may live in their heads, struggle to feel like they belong, and over-function for success among other concerns. Many are gifted, caring, self-aware, but feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected from life and relationships. You may be craving authenticity after years of masking, self-doubt, chronic illness, or attempts at numbing. You long for real connection, not performance. I offer insight, humor, and neurodivergence-affirming care to help you relax into creating the life you want.

I am an antiracist, tattooed, fat‐positive therapist who specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ partnered systems and/or individuals who have experienced trauma. I work with individuals in Oklahoma wrestling with people-pleasing, complex trauma, identity exploration, and overintellectualizing—because I know that cookie‐cutter therapy isn’t for everyone. I aim to help you untangle the layers of your past and find a path toward a more empowered, authentic future. You can expect me to be casual in style and language, offering you a safe space to explore and process at your own pace.

I want to make you uncomfortable with how comfortable I am with the parts of you that you think will make you unlovable. Whether you’re navigating anxious attachment, religious trauma, neurodivergent parenting, or simply trying to feel safe in your own body—I help people break old patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and set boundaries without guilt. My approach is compassionate, direct, and rooted in trauma-informed care. If you’ve always felt “too much” or “not enough,” therapy with me is a space where you’ll finally make sense to yourself.

Secular and Non-Religious Therapists
What is a secular and non religious approach in therapy?
Secular or non-religious therapy is a theoretical orientation used by many therapists and describes a therapeutic approach that does not rely on any specific religious or faith-based beliefs in the therapeutic process. Secular counselors will often approach therapy with an emphasis on evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients, instead of relying on religious practices, such as prayer or belief in God.

Is secular therapy primarily for non-religious people?
Both religious and non-religious individuals can benefit from secular therapy. People exploring their religious or spiritual beliefs may find it especially useful to work with a secular therapist who is unbiased toward any specific religion. While religious individuals might value the connection and familiarity of seeing a counselor who shares their beliefs, secular counseling can offer them the chance to develop coping skills independent of their religious practice, which can be beneficial in various aspects of their lives.

Can a secular approach to therapy help with religious trauma?
One major reason clients may seek a secular therapist is to process previous religious experiences, including religious trauma. Secular therapists can help clients manage symptoms of the trauma through practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). They can also encourage clients through talk therapy or psychodynamic approaches to explore the roots of their religious trauma. Since secular therapists do not have any predetermined religious beliefs, they can be particularly helpful for clients looking to explore their own religious beliefs following a history of religious trauma.

What does non religious marriage and premarital counseling involve?
Marriage and premarital counseling typically involves a couple meeting with a therapist to discuss topics such as planning for marriage, navigating a new marriage, addressing relationship challenges, and developing better communication and conflict resolution skills. Non-religious therapists assist couples in achieving these goals without adhering to specific religious beliefs or frameworks, often emphasizing inclusivity and non-judgment, especially for "nontraditional" couples. However, seeking couples therapy from a non-religious counselor does not mean religious topics are off-limits. In fact, non-religious couples from different religious backgrounds may benefit from a secular therapist who remains neutral toward the beliefs of each partner.
