Much of my time has been spent with individuals with developmental disabilities or those who identify as neurodivergent, so I'm able to be flexible and creative in my therapeutic approaches to meet your specific needs and ways of seeing the world.
I typically approach therapy from a more client-centered or collaborative approach. I believe that each individual is the main authority of their own lives and experiences, so my goal is to work together to cope with the difficulties and stressor that arise.

I work with all people, but with a focus in ASD & AD/HD.
I don't really have an ideal client. I am willing to work with anyone who is willing to seek help. As stated on my profile for where I practice. "I personally believe that everyone is capable of changing their lives for the better. I believe that in order to change, you have to recognize that changes starts within you. The relationship with yourself is the most important. I aim to assist clients with increasing their relationship with themselves, in order to see the light of change within their hearts."

I also have a strong interest in affirming neurodivergence (especially ADHD/ Autism), members of the queer community, and Intuitive eating/HAES.
My practice is based less on presenting issues and more on fundamental assumptions about humanity: 1) Any client I work with is doing the best they can in the moment I meet them, 2) all people respond to compassion and understanding, and all people are injured by shaming and 3) two opposing things can be true at the same time, and much of our suffering is an inability to sit with that belief. Whoever you are and whatever your reason for seeking treatment, I will meet you exactly where you are the moment you walk in my virtual door. I consider myself your partner in your journey to find and be your most authentic self.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating Anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Depression, Grief, Marriage/Couples Counseling, Trauma, and more.
For Individuals:
My ideal client is someone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or emotionally disconnected — even though they’re often seen by others as “functioning just fine.” Their goals might include managing anxiety, emotional reactivity, strengthening relationships, setting boundaries, understanding themselves more deeply, healing from past wounds, feeling more balanced and purposeful.
For Couples:
Couples therapy isn’t about blaming or “fixing” one another. It’s about working as a team to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface — and learning new ways to show up for each other with care, curiosity, and honesty.

I curse, I am proudly neurodivergent, and I practice queerly.
Do you ever feel everyone around you is operating life with a manual of instructions you never received? Same. Do you feel out of place in social settings, communication with others, or like your brain is just different? Trauma can present in many different ways, causing you to numb out, scroll endlessly, or fill the void with impulse purchases you shame yourself for later. These patterns can leave you feeling exhausted and stuck in survival mode, often times with days and weeks passing you by. Having a therapist who can truly relate is so important.

Many of my clients are late-diagnosed or high-masking neurodivergent adults who have spent years in traditional talk therapy understanding themselves logically, yet still feel emotionally stuck.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and neuro-affirming, integrating EMDR, somatic therapy, attachment-focused work, and nervous system regulation strategies. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” who you are, but helping you better understand your brain, nervous system, and survival patterns to create greater regulation, authenticity, and connection.

Autism Therapists
What is the most effective treatment for autism?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has come to be considered the standard treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder, and research has confirmed its effectiveness for many children. Therapists trained in ABA techniques work with children (and their parents) on developing social skills, communication and learning abilities, and everyday habits of hygiene and grooming. The clinician will tailor their program to the child’s particular need but the overarching goal will be to help them advance as far as possible toward independence based on their level of symptoms and decrease the need for additional special services. Families should seek a mental health professional specifically trained in ABA, and holding special certification in the technique, who has extensive experience not only with the approach but in using it with children with the same level of symptoms as the child who needs care.
How does ABA work?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) sessions, which typically focus on positive reinforcement, can be intensive, lasting two or more hours several times a week, and continuing for two years or more. Therapists can also be expected to ask parents to take an active role in reinforcing lessons. Research has found that the technique can lead to major improvements that decrease the need for additional special services.
How does treatment for autism work?
Therapy sessions based on Applied Behavior Analysis will likely be frequent, intensive, and highly structured. After a thorough assessment, a therapist will help a child understand and develop skills in a range of areas, including communication, motor skills, social skills, self-care, play, and academic skills, as well as routines of daily living like hygiene. Typically, the therapist will help a child break down the components of a behavior—often referred to as the antecedent (what prompts an action), the behavior, and the consequence(what immediately follows)—and then reward the child at every step, while also asking parents to reinforce the lessons, and the rewards, throughout the day. This core therapy may be supplemented by occupational or speech therapy, and antidepressants, antipsychotics, and anticonvulsants may be prescribed to address specific severe symptoms.
How long does therapy for autism take?
Some people with autism spectrum disorder may be engaged in some level of therapy for many years, but research shows that treatment will be most effective if it is begun early and delivered intensively. When therapy begins by age 3, children tend to be better able to grasp and adopt the skills needed to manage everyday life, including attending school and establishing social relationships. This type of early-intervention treatment regimen is highly structured, typically involving 20 to 40 hours of one-on-one therapy per week, along with additional hours of engagement managed by parents, for a period of two years or more, although the duration of treatment is dependent on the child’s level of symptoms and pace of progress.
