I believe in the power of healing through connection in a safe environment. The relationship between counselor and client is a high priority for me and my goal with clients is to provide a place where they feel supported and can discover potential solutions. I have a holistic mindset and strive to help clients build factors into their lives that promote wellness. My primary approach is through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a focus on the thoughts and feelings that feed into problematic behaviors. However, I believe that each client's struggle is unique and I adjust my approach accordingly.
I enjoy working with adults, teens, and pre-teens on a variety of issues. Some of these issues include anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, anger management, stress, trauma, and relationship issues. I am comfortable working with clients who are experiencing difficulty with one or several concerns.
