With over fifteen years of experience, I strive to provide a safe and secure place for individuals to address emotional and psychological problems that often result in personal suffering and struggling relationships. I place great emphasis on empathy and believe that we all encounter deep dark places that are best worked through when we have a safe and compassionate person to walk alongside us through the journey. Helping others find a way forward in order to experience a fully present and more joyful life is very important to me.

I consider it an honor to hold space for clients as they begin the challenging deep inner work of healing to create fulfillment and balance within their lives and relationships. My clients often seek counseling burdened by various challenging feelings of shame, anxiety, and depression and I seek to provide a warm and connective space where we can address these concerns sensitively. I work with adults, often LGBTQIA+ identifying, to develop balance and peace within their lives and relationships.

Who am I? I am an experienced therapist who understands that your relationship with me is more important than the methodology I may use in your therapy. Who you may be- You are an individual, who has decided, perhaps, to invest in his/her future happiness. You are a couple or a family looking for cohesion and a shared vision. You may have mobility issues and need an accommodation, in a safe and secure virtual office. You are someone who may have no previous therapy, counseling or consultation experience. Or you have had these services in the past. Whoever you are, please know that your well being is my professional priority.

There is a curious habit that I've noticed, especially when working with teens, that clients will mostly only work on the "issue of the week." This can have numerous benefits and can also delay the client's progress on any underlying concerns or patterns. Ideally, once a client has agreed to their treatment goals, they continue to take attainable steps towards that goal in therapy and in their daily life. When a client feels comfortable with their therapist to share their thoughts, emotions, and vulnerabilities, then deeper work can happen.

Life can be overwhelming—whether you’re navigating a major life transition, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or struggling to manage intense emotions, you don’t have to do it alone. I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and trauma informed. I believe meaningful change begins when we stop asking, “What’s wrong with me?” and start asking, “What happened to me?"

I work with people in high pressure careers — attorneys, therapists, medical professionals, & others expected to stay composed while navigating conflict, trauma, & constant demands. You may be ambitious, successful, and deeply committed to your work, yet still feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in perfectionism, demoralized, & inadequate. Many of my clients notice that the qualities that help them excel professionally also create strain at home. You might feel disconnected from your partner, short tempered with the people you care about, or too drained to be present after work. These are professional hazards that can be addressed.

I hold a deep interest in the intersection of creativity and mental wellbeing. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing often begins when we are able to express what words cannot fully capture—and that the process of uncovering unconscious material can lead to profound insight, integration, and personal growth. Drawing from psychodynamic theory, I am interested in how early life experiences shape our internal world and influence current relationships and emotional patterns. I aim to help clients explore these deeper layers of their experience, offering a supportive space to process complex emotions and inner conflicts.
