I provide compassionate and respectful, short-term, spiritual and intuitive counseling via phone, video chat, or in-person at one of my two office locations.
Whether you want to feel better, sleep better, think and focus better, communicate better, have a better connection with people, it all comes down to living a better life. I help people to achieve any goal, whether it's using hypnosis to kick a bad habit, such as smoking or overeating; or changing negative beliefs, such as not being good enough; or tending to grief and loss by obtaining closure, insight or a deeper understanding of why something ended the way it did, or learning meditation and mindfulness to assist with reaching their full potential. I create a customized approach that suits each client's individual preferences.

Even if you've had unsuccessful attempts in therapy in the past, it can be possible to heal rapidly and permanently from the impacts of trauma, grief, anxiety or depression . I offer 2, 3 or 4 hours of EMDR Intensive Therapy. This approach is much more efficient and allows clients to heal at a better pace. I understand that therapy can be an intimidating experience and the decision to seek therapy, a brave step, let's make it the best experience possible for you so you can regain your self worth and live the life you were meant to live.

Ruins are not empty. They are sacred places full of presence (John O'Donahue: Anam Cara). Uncovering a deeper understanding of ourselves most often comes from experiencing unexpected changes such as divorce, the loss of a loved one, mental and physical health changes and even embarking on a new career. Changes can throw us into chaos. Let's discover your presence, your power of growth, and your peace within. Let's talk about our options.

Life is made of moments of calm serenity and turbulent change. At times the direction feels clear but other times the path is a dark anxious mystery. In every story there are moments of joyous victory, as well as periods of heartbreaking grief. Sometimes during these moments, a person needs someone to sit with them, in the quiet, to help gain clarity. Life and relationships are complex. The good news is that regardless of wherever you are, your story isn't over yet. A new chapter can begin today by seeking help through a strong therapeutic relationship.

I offer therapy sessions both in-office and telehealth.
It can be hard to find a safe and accepting space to share difficult experiences and emotions without judgment. That's why I strive to provide a warm, collaborative environment where you can finally exhale and begin making sense of what you’ve been holding. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I tailor the therapeutic process to your unique needs to address both the immediate challenges and the deeper roots of emotional pain. I enjoy providing therapy to those of any age, offering therapy to anyone ages 3-65+.

You've spent years pushing through challenges, showing up for your team, and holding yourself to high standards. Whether you're navigating a performance slump, recovering from an injury, adjusting to graduation or retirement, or wondering who you are beyond your sport, therapy can help. Together, we'll strengthen resilience, quiet self-doubt, build confidence, and help you reconnect with your identity, purpose, and well-being both in and beyond the game.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
