Taking the first steps toward asking for help requires a great deal of self-awareness and courage, so you are already moving in the direction of growth. And, as difficult as the journey of healing and self-discovery can be, you are never alone. Whether you struggle with past trauma, current crises or life stressors, toxic family dynamics, or a pervasive mood disorder like depression or anxiety, I am here for you. I will never judge, condemn, or ridicule you. I am here to provide empathy, support, guidance, and validation throughout the counseling process.

The journey toward healing starts with one step—and I’m here to walk alongside you. I began my career in the counseling centers of two local colleges, working primarily with young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I have experience supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, and while most of my clients have been ages 18–27, I’ve also worked with adults in their 50s.

I am an LPCC serving clients in Ohio, offering compassionate, culturally responsive therapy. I create a space where clients feel their identities and backgrounds are valued while we explore their experiences and build practical strategies for growth. My work in community mental health centers included working with neurodivergent clients. I have also worked with clients navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma, and self-esteem concerns. I stay curious, keep learning from the people I work with, and adapt care to fit each client’s complexity.

Many of the people I work with are used to being the support for everyone else. Therapists, helpers, and highly self-aware individuals often come to therapy feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. You may understand your patterns and still feel stuck. I also work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and neurodivergence, including those exploring late-diagnosed ADHD or autism.

The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well (Alfred Adler). Brad is, above all, an active listener in his work with clients. Mutual trust is the key to true change in the therapeutic journey and that comes from truly being heard and understood. When you see Brad for therapy, you have his undivided attention. As a patient-centered prescriber, Brad understands that finding the right therapist isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. He truly values the time, trust, and journey of each client he services. Every therapy session is a learning opportunity with a new chance for growth.

A lot of the people I work with are exhausted. Not lazy. Not broken. Exhausted. They’re overthinking everything, carrying everyone else’s emotional baggage, apologizing too much, and functioning on caffeine, survival mode, and pure obligation. Some struggle with anxiety that never fully shuts off. Others are burned out, overwhelmed, grieving, emotionally stuck, or quietly wondering why life feels so much harder than it looks for everyone else. A surprising number of people come to therapy saying some version of:“I’m holding it together externally, but internally? It’s giving raccoon in a dumpster fire.” Honestly? Fair.

Individuals thrive toward their potential when their relationships are healthy and supportive. Being in healthy relationship is how we, as individuals and families, are sustained in the long term. Relationships that are healthy are consistent, have structure, are interdependent, and provide instruction that fosters individual and collective resiliency and progress. When relationships are in crisis, individuals must be guided toward identifying the behaviors and attitudes that bring on conflict. When this awareness is achieved, change is possible. Here, attention to individual and relationship needs is equally important in the therapeutic process.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S). I take a client-centered approach to therapy, using CBT & ACT techniques to support individuals navigating symptoms of depression and anxiety. I've always had a strong desire to help and uplift others, and becoming a therapist felt like a natural path for me. I'm inspired by people's strength and vulnerability, and I love being part of their journey toward healing and self-growth. It means a lot to me to create a space where people feel safe, heard, and supported -especially when life feels overwhelming.
