We all struggle. It's a sign of being human. Sometimes, those struggles seem to take over, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, sad, fearful, and so on. Regardless of what your struggle is, you deserve support as you learn to manage and surmount it. Addiction, abuse, ADD/H, anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, and so many other struggles can be overcome. You can get back to safety, sanity and stability. I am licensed in OH, MD, MA and FL. I am in network with CIGNA and UHC, as well as many EAPs.

2) Individuals and couples facing infertility, pregnancy loss, and complex paths to family growth.
Most people may not be able to tell, but you haven’t felt like yourself for quite some time. You’ve been doing your best to get through each day, often putting on a brave face even when you really feel anxious, sad, angry, or alone. These feelings pop up in your most important spaces - with your partner, with your kids, in the office, or sometimes seemingly out of nowhere. You want to get back to feeling like yourself; be a better partner, a better parent, more fulfilled in your work, or just feel happy again. Picture what your life could feel like without that constant weight of depression or anxiety on your shoulders.

Issues such as infertility, postpartum depression or anxiety and adoption can make what should be a joyful time into one of the most difficult times of one's life instead.
My therapeutic approach focuses on helping you develop the support network you need to thrive and deal with any emotional difficulties that may be standing in the way. I use a blend of CBT, EMDR and talk-therapy, and we work together to set goals for what you would like to achieve during therapy. I love to provide additional resources as necessary.

I have additional certification in couple's counseling and infertility counseling.
The house goes quiet and your mind start racing. You’re tossing and turning over yesterday’s mistakes or tomorrow’s fears, and some nights, the anxiety is just a nameless buzz that won't let you settle. You're used to being the person with all the answers, but now you're noticing people (your partner, kids, co-workers) are hesitant to approach you. It’s exhausting to live that way, knowing deep down that your life has become more about surviving than actually enjoying the things that matter most.

Hi there—I'm really glad you're here. Just by landing on this page, you've already taken a brave first step toward healing; that’s something to be proud of! I support individuals/couples facing fertility challenges and pregnancy loss—experiences that can feel deeply isolating. You don’t have to face them alone. I also bring a personal understanding to this work—I've experienced stillbirth and fertility challenges myself. That lived experience shapes how I show up for my clients: with compassion, honesty, and a deep respect for your journey.

Our brains really are wired for connection. It’s a beautiful thing, and it can also make disconnection feel so painful, confusing, and hard. Whether you feel disconnected from yourself or a partner because of trauma, betrayal, anxiety, or other struggles, I start my work with clients from the same foundation – the idea that all behavior makes sense in context. Simply put, you are doing the best you can with what you know, even if it’s not the way you want to show up. Starting from that perspective can help unravel the shame associated with patterns you find yourself stuck in with your partner or with yourself.

You might be feeling stuck in patterns that no longer fit: overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or a quiet disconnection from yourself. You might be processing trauma, burnout, or big life transitions and craving a sense of clarity, safety, and agency. Together, we slow down, make meaning, and help you reclaim the parts of yourself that got buried beneath survival.

Infertility Therapists
How can infertility affect couples and their relationship?
Clients who are dealing with infertility may experience conflict and communication problems. It’s not unusual for shame, blame, and guilt to arise in cases of infertility, whether the source of the problem is one partner or both. This means that clients are upset and pulling away from their partner just when they need them the most. Some clients may find it difficult to spend time around friends and family who are pregnant. Friends and family can also make hurtful comments that increase tension during this time.

How does therapy for infertility issues work?
The therapist will begin by gathering information about the client or couple and make a treatment plan for their specific concerns. In addition to addressing common mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma reactions or PTSD, therapists can help clients improve their decision-making and deal with stressors unique to infertility. Some examples include coping with the “two-week wait” before a pregnancy test, the distress associated with a failed attempt or miscarriage, and the shame and blame sometimes associated with reproductive concerns.

What type of therapy is best for infertility issues?
Many therapists offer psychotherapy for individuals and couples who are dealing with infertility issues. Some helpful therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which can aid clients in reframing negative thoughts about their situation. Expressive writing and art therapy can help clients process difficult feelings. Clients might also benefit from group therapy to experience support from others who are dealing with the same problems.

How long does therapy for infertility issues take?
There is no set length for therapy that addresses infertility or reproductive concerns. Some clients might find it helpful to continue therapy during their pregnancy to have healthy ways to cope with any associated stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma. Some clients who decide not to pursue fertility treatments might benefit from the support of a therapist. The duration of therapy varies depending on the individual client’s specific needs and goals.
