My office is located in a non-traditional setting where I have teamed up with a massage therapist, to provide a calm environment for you to address your current struggles. My hope is that you are able leave the stress of life at the door and discover new ways to have that stress decreased or hopefully be eliminated. I provide both individual and couples therapy. I believe that issues in a relationship are not due to one member but the unit as a whole, and that is my focus for couples therapy.
With over 20 years experience in the mental health field, 14 of which as a counselor, I have used many different therapeutic techniques. The one I use the most is Solution-Focused Therapy. Through this technique, I hope to identify and build upon your strengths to replace areas of weakness.
The hardest aspects of counseling are making the decision to get help, making the appointment and ultimately coming to the first session. I hope, through reading this, you feel more confident in coming to that decision to make a change, embrace your strengths and look forward to a positive future.
