Some parts of your childhood have been blocked from memory, and the other parts leave you questioning why you can’t just forget it all and move on. Hi there, I'm Matt! My first priority is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive environment for clients to begin or continue their healing journey. As an ally and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I feel a calling to help others in the community who struggle to connect with mental health professionals so they can be fully seen, heard, and cared for. I also enjoy working with military veterans and their families with the complexities of post-service life and the challenges of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also find joy in working with neurodivergent individuals, young (11+) and older navigate an ever-changing world.

Never underestimate the power of your story and know that your voice matters!I believe that counseling is a process of telling ones story. I treat children, adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, family conflict, peer relationships, self esteem, coping strategies and more. I specifically have worked with children through early adulthood and families for over 18 years. I believe we all have mental health and that our health is on a spectrum. Sometimes we need a little extra guidance, help and support. And I look forward to helping you with this!

I understand that things such as anxiety, depression, or trauma history can be overwhelming for the individual and family members leading to a variety of symptoms and situational difficulties. I am comfortable working with a variety of difficult topics such as suicidal ideation or self harm and enjoy working with family systems to improve communication patterns and increase positive behaviors and connection in the home.

I offer supportive client-centered therapy services to Adolescents and Adults suffering from mental and emotional disorders. I specialize in Men's mental health issues and offer a safe environment for client's to express their needs and goals. I have 10 years of experience treating substance use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and trauma. As a Tier 3 Star Behavioral Health Provider trained through the Department of Deployment Psychology, I offer counseling services to military members, veterans, and their families.
